Marco Bezzecki Brings Aprilia To Win The English MotoGP At The Silverstone Circuit
JAKARTA - Aprilia driver Marco Bezzecchi won the MotoGP race full of drama at the Silverston Circuit, England, Sunday, with a flag red and Fabio Quartararo's resignation when he led the race due to technical problems.
The first drama occurred when several drivers fell, including Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, and Franco Morbidelli, in the early stages of the race, quoted from the official competition website in Jakarta.
The race was then repeated after the red flag was flown due to spilled oil on the track. The race at Silverston then started again with 19 laps, reduced by one lap from the previous lap.
Fabio Quartararo, the ruler of the posisi, immediately led the pursuit of Marc Marquez, Francesco Bagnaia, and Alex Marquez when the race started.
The 2021 world champion quickly distanced himself from the pursuit of the two Ducati riders. Pramac Yamaha rider Jack Miller absorbs Marquez and Bagnaia on the second lap to get second place.
Marquez and Bagnaia's position fell again after the third position was occupied by LCR rider Honda Johann Zarco, before the two made a mistake and dropped to ninth and 10th positions.

On the fourth lap, Bagnaia lost control of his motorbike and then fell, while Marquez remained in ninth position behind Honda HRC driver Luca Marini.
The next round, Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia moved up to third to absorb Zarco, before then the Italian preceded Miller for second.
Drama continued as Quartararo took the lead about four seconds more ahead, but suddenly slowed down his bike and decided to stop racing after technical problems on lap 12.
Quartararo's withdrawal was put to good use by Bezzecki to lead and on seven laps remaining, the former VR46 rider was untouched and eventually the winner in the drama's full race.
This is his first win with Aprilia, as well as his first win after so long since MotoGP India in 2023. This victory also made Bezzecki the fifth rider to win this season's race after Marquez, Alex Marquez, Bagnaia, and Zarco.
Completing the podium at Silverston, Zarco continued his fine performance after being at Le Mans two weeks ago, taking second place. Marquez's last Podium was occupied after he won a fierce battle against Morbidelli. After Silverston, the eighth MotoGP series was held in two weeks to be precise at the Aragon Circuit, Spain.
