Governor Dedi Mulyadi Promises Bonuses For Persib From Personal Money And West Java Official Contributions

JAKARTA - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi promised to provide bonuses for Persib Bandung from personal funds as well as ask West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman to coordinate contributions from West Java officials for additional bonuses for the club that has just won the Indonesian League 1.

Dedi said in front of Persib Bobotoh who packed Gedung Sate Bandung, Sunday, that he asked the West Java Regional Secretary to coordinate so that the value of bonus contributions from West Java Provincial Government officials reached Rp1 billion, while he would give another Rp1 billion.

Nevertheless, Dedi said this bonus would not and should not be sourced from the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

"I conveyed a bonus. It's not the APBD, you can't use government funds. My bonus is IDR 1 billion. And I assigned the Regional Secretary to coordinate with West Java Provincial Government officials to give a bonus of IDR 1 billion, but I can't use APBD money. So the bonus is IDR 2 billion," said Dedi, quoted by ANTARA.

At the same location, Persib Bandung Umuh manager Muchtar appreciated and thanked Dedi Mulyadi and all parties for the award.

"Thank you to the Governor for conveying what was conveyed from all circles. Alhamdulillah, throughout West Java, we gather here. God willing, next year we will win again," said Umuh.

Umuh also expressed his gratitude to the Bobotoh for their support for Persib Bandung. He also reminded everyone to be orderly and safe to their respective homes.

"Thank you Bobotoh, everyone is orderly, go home safely, comfortably, and everyone is safe, and healthy wal afiat, thank you. Long live Persib, Persib won again," he said.
