Three Years Together, RnB Salon Introduces A Contemplative Debut Single Titled Do What We Do

JAKARTA - The women's music group from Jakarta, Salon RnB, introduced a collaborative debut single entitled 'Do What We Do', a enthusiastic and soulful anthem that summarizes their journey, collective strength, and artistic evolution.

Meanwhile, the RnB Salon consists of female soloists who are committed to promoting authentic R&B music and across genres, as well as empowering women's voices in the music industry. They are Karina Christy, Madukina, Moneva, Noni, RL KLAV, and Sade Susanto.

This debut single is also part of the three-year celebration of the togetherness of the RnB Salon, which was previously more active in performing than in the recording studio.

Do What We Do itself is not just a song, this is a declaration of women's freedom, unity and creative power. This song is a reminder and encouragement for women to appear confidently, both on stage and in everyday life.

"This song is a love letter for ourselves and our community," said the RnB Salon personnel in their statement, Sunday, May 25.

"This is a reminder that we have the right to appear, be heard, be seen, and have fun while doing so," he added.

Do What We Do contains a dynamical combination between the nuances of nostalgia R&B in the early 2000s with a contemporary touch. From confident verses to catchy choruses, this song emits the typical energy of classic girl groups where individual characters blend in collective harmony.

Each personnel brings their different vocals and emotions, thus creating a rich and layered music experience.

This song is a work of pure collaboration written, produced, and fully performed by RnB Salon personnel.

"This is a complete representation of the values we stand for: artistic autonomy, emotional honesty, and brave self-expression," they said.

For information, the RnB Salon which celebrates its three years together through the single 'Do What We Do', was founded in July 2022 by Moneva, RL KLAV, and Almira. This collection stems from a relaxed collaboration based on love for R&B music and the desire to create space for women's voices in the Indonesian music landscape.

Over the past three years, this collective has grown into a creative sisterhood that drives gene boundaries. They have created their own path on Indonesian music scene, by appearing in many events from intimate gigs to major music festivals such as The Sounds Project, Synchronize Festival, Joyland Festival, Java Jazz Festival, Flavs Festival, to Partypora.

RnB salons consider themselves not just a collective they are creative movements built on the foundations of sisterhood, self-appreciation, and expression of the soul.

Their mission is simple but powerful: redefine R&B music in Indonesia through the voice and experience of women. And through 'Do What We Do', they not only share their stories, but also invite listeners to be a part of them.
