Disdik Asks Schools In Aceh Not To Hold Student Diplomas
BANDA ACEH - Aceh Education Office asked educational units in this area not to withhold the diplomas of students who have completed the study.
"Schools must hand over diplomas of all students who have completed studies at the high school/equivalent education level in particular," said Head of the Aceh Education Office, Marthunis in Banda Aceh, Saturday.
He explained that for now there have been no school reports that have withheld diplomas, but this appeal needs to be conveyed so that it does not occur in Aceh.

According to him, all heads of offices in all regencies/cities in Aceh must ensure that there are no cases of detention of diplomas in their respective working areas.
"The government has allocated an adequate budget to support the smooth running of teaching and learning so that no more costs are charged to students," he said.
Marthunis also asked parents of students to report to the heads of the education offices in each region if there were cases of certificate detention.
"If there is a case of a school holding a diploma, please report it to Kacabdin according to their respective areas," he said.
He is committed to improving the quality of education in Aceh and improving the education system in Tanah Rencong.
Aceh Province has 20 Kacabdin spread across 23 regencies/cities in the province at the westernmost end of Indonesia.
