Police Prepare Traffic Security During Visit Of Chinese PM And French President

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto will receive a state visit from the Chinese Prime Minister (PM) Li Qiang and French President Emmanuel Macron at the Jakarta Palace. In this regard, Polda Metro Jaya will hold security on several roads.

It is known that China's Prime Minister (PM) Ri Qiang's state visit will take place from May 24 to 26. Meanwhile, the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron is planned for May 27 to 29.

"The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya will certainly carry out security activities on several roads during the visit," said Wadirlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Argo Wiyono in a video uploaded to the Instagram account @tmcpoldametro, Saturday, May 24.

Traffic security and regulation will be carried out on three roads, namely Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan MH Thamrin, and Jalan Gatot Subroto.

The community is asked to work together to help make the state visit a success. Because, the success of these activities will be a reflection of Indonesia in the eyes of the world.

"We urge and invite cooperation to all levels of society to contribute to the success of the implementation of security. And of course with this success, Indonesia in the eyes of the world will also be very honorable and appreciated," he said.

In addition, Argo also apologized to the public whose activities were disrupted by the implementation of securing the state visit.

"We, the police, the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, apologize once again if there is inconvenience for residents who are hampered in the event of a diversion or engineering carried out by officers in the field," said Argo.
