Police Arrest Admin Group 'Likes To Be Sad' Spreader Of Porn Content

JAKARTA - Polri melalui Polres Gresik menangkap admin grup Facebook 'Satika Duka' yang terlibat aksi penyebaran konten asusila di media sosial.

Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Erdi A. Chaniago, said the group's admin had the initials IDGAMU. The arrests were made in the Bali area.

"The Gresik Police Resmob conducted an investigation and succeeded in identifying the suspect based on social media account data until he finally made an arrest in the Bali area," Erdi said in his statement, Saturday, May 24.

From the examination, it was revealed that the suspect had managed the group previously known as 'Blood Love' for two years. In fact, the number of followers reached tens of thousands.

"This group has been active since 2022 and had more than 32 thousand members," he said.

Erdi emphasized that the disclosure of this case is a form of Polri's commitment to keeping the digital space healthy and safe from pornographic content.

"We will not tolerate the misuse of digital platforms to spread content that destroy people's morals and social values. This is proof that the Police are serious in monitoring and taking action against irregularities in cyberspace," said Erdi.

Currently, the investigation process continues by involving cross-agency coordination, including the East Java Regional Police Cyber Directorate and the prosecutor's office.
