Zulhas: The Red And White Kopdes Will Cooperate With The Danantara

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Task Force for the Acceleration of the Establishment of the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes), Zulkifli Hasan, revealed that the Red and White Kopdes will cooperate with the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara).

The man who is familiarly called Zulhas explained the reason why the Red and White Kopdes cooperated with the Danantara. He said this was because all State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) were under the Danantara.

"Yes, everything now is BUMN under Danatara. So yes (the Red and White Village Head) must involve (Dantara) that way," he said at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Friday, May 23.

The Coordinating Minister for Food also explained that the cooperation between the Red and White Kopdes and the Danantara does not need an agreement. Because, it has been done automatically.

"Yes, automatically, if you are with SOEs automatically with Danantara," he said.

For your information, the cooperation between the Red and White Kopdes and the Danantara was first revealed by Zulhas to the public on May 19 after the Coordinating Meeting for Inflation Control of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).

At that time, Zulhas said the Red and White Kopdes would cooperate with Danantara. He explained that the cooperation between the two was aimed at improving cooperative institutions.

He said that reflecting on the management of cooperatives in the past, now cooperative governance must be good. Therefore, it will be assisted by SOEs.

"Later, BUMN friends will help," said Zulhas after the Inflation Control Meeting of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Monday, May 19.
