Xiaomi Opens The YU7 SUV Celebration, There Is A Travel Distance That Is More Than 800 Km

JAKARTA After stealing the world's attention through the launch of its first electric car, SU7, Chinese technology giant Xiaomi is now back in demonstration by introducing its newest model, Xiaomi YU7. This second electric car was introduced directly by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, as part of Xiaomi's aggressive expansion strategy in the global automotive industry.

Citing the CarNewsChina report, Friday, May 23, the official price of YU7 will be announced at its global launch scheduled for July 2025. This at the same time refutes rumors that the environmentally friendly car will sell for 199,000 yuan or around IDR 448 million.

Xiaomi YU7 is a futuristic SUV built on Xiaomi's Modena platform. This car has a length of 4,999 mm, a width of 1,996 mm, and a height of 1,608 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm providing a spacious cabin while looking dashing on the road.

Available in nine exterior color choices, including the Colored Olympic green color, flaring orange, to metallic titanium, YU7 is also equipped with wheels measuring 19 to 20 inches, confirming the impression of sporty and premium.

Entering the cabin, the impression of luxury is immediately felt. The interior is completely covered with the skin with a front seat made from Nappa leather which is equipped with a massage feature of 10 points. The back passenger is spoiled with an electrically tunable chair, providing high-end comfort.

In the dashboard, YU7 is equipped with an advanced display system titled HyperVision: a 1.1 meter wide panel consisting of three high-resolution Mini LED screens. This infotainment system is also integrated with various advanced driving assistance features, which make the driving experience safer and more enjoyable.

Xiaomi YU7 is available in three main variants, namely YU7 RWD, with an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 5.88 seconds, a peak speed of 240 km/hour.

Then YU7 Pro AWD powered up to 680 Nm, acceleration 0-100 km/hour in 4.27 seconds.

Meanwhile, YU7 Max AWD is the highest version with a brutal force of 866 Nm and acceleration of 0-100 km/hour is only 3.2 seconds.

Regarding the distance, YU7 RWD is equipped with 96.3 kWh LFP batteries with a range of up to 835 km per charge. The Pro AWD variant has a range of 770 km, while the Max AWD variant with a battery of 101.7 kWh is capable of exploring up to 760 km.

With a combination of premium design, advanced technology, and extraordinary performance, Xiaomi YU7 is predicted to be a tough competitor in the global electric car market, as well as to emphasize Xiaomi's ambition to become a new great power in the world automotive industry.
