Secretary General Of Gerindra Reminds Ministers To Follow Prabowo's Irama Steps

JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party who is also Chairman of the MPR Ahmad Muzani reminded the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet (KMP) to follow President Prabowo Subianto's steps and rhythms.

"Follow the steps and rhythm of the President. When the President steps in 20 steps, his ministers and assistants should also follow the same steps from the President. When the President rotates to the right, follow the right and so on," said Muzani as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 23.

This was conveyed in response to the suggestion that President Prabowo again carry out a cabinet reshuffle made by activists during the Cross-generation Faculty of Activists Commemorating the 1998 Reformation themed From Political Democracy Towards Economic Democracy Transformation in Jakarta, Wednesday (21/5).

In addition to following President Prabowo's steps and rhythms, he also hopes that ministers can show more productive performance.

"We hope the ministers work more actively," he said.

Muzani admitted that he had not received any information from President Prabowo regarding his response to the proposed reshuffle of the Red and White Cabinet which had re-emerged.

"So far I have not received any information about the views and thoughts from the President, so far I have not," he said.

Previously, cross-generation activists held a sarasehan commemorating the 27th anniversary of 1998 reform with the theme "From Political Democracy Towards Economic Democracy Transformation" in Jakarta, Tuesday (21/5).

One of the activists who is also a political observer, Rocky Gerung, considered that the momentum of the 1998 reform was not just to be commemorated, but to be repeated in relation to the transformation of economic democracy in Indonesia.

Rocky, who expressed his support for the socialist economy, also said that President Prabowo Subianto also wanted the idea when discussing directly with himself several years ago.

"We are talking about the future. I challenge you or not to be the leader of Indonesian socialists? He said, 'In fact I want to be an Asian socialist leader'," he said.

He also views the cabinet reshuffle as one of the opportunities for President Prabowo's administration to be able to circumvent the idea of a socialist economy.

"So the president's job is to replace those who do not speak socialism, and that's a change in the new paradigm," he said.

On the other hand, activist who now serves as Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, admits that it is not in line with the views that encourage President Prabowo Subianto to reshuffle his cabinet because the government has just run so that it can disrupt productivity.

The chairman of Commission III of the DPR also asked the public not to underestimate the ability of President Prabowo to mand his government cabinet.

He emphasized that President Prabowo Subianto, who is also the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, actually has advantages in terms of managing the surrounding human resources (HR).

This more ability, he continued, is even like the sixth sense so that President Prabowo can find out which person has an dishonest intention and sincere thoughts to work for his government.

"If we have the luggage of 'processing' to come to him, we can't, because he doesn't know, he's like Pak Prabowo's sixth senses. Some are 'processing carpentry', he knows, you know. Indeed, of course Pak Prabowo has a strategy in managing human resources around him," he said.
