UMJ Confirms 1,186 Tourists, Hafiz Al Quran Becomes A Symbol Of Integration Of Science And Faith
JAKARTA M. Rapuna Hafidz Danial Putra, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Muhammadiyah University Jakarta (FKK UMJ), appeared as a representative of graduates in the 81st UMJ Graduation procession which was held at the KH Auditorium. Azhar Basyir, the UMJ Cendekia Building, Thursday 22 May.
Raveha, who is also a Hafiz Al Quran of 30 juz and a special scholarship recipient who memorizes Al Quran, conveyed a religious message in his speech.
In his remarks, Rapuna expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to get a scholarship for Hafiz Al Quran 30 Juz. He said that the ability to memorize had been honed since the time of education at the pesantren.
"Since at the pesantren I have been equipped with 30 juz memorizations. Alhamdulillah, this scholarship is a motivation as well as a gift that makes it easier for my trip to UMJ," he said.
Rapula highlighted the superiority of the education system in UMJ which he said combined general knowledge with religious education in a balanced manner. He called Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan as the hallmarks of UMJ which formed the student character as a whole.
One of the interesting programs is the tutoring of Al Quran or BTQ, in which students are guided to correct the recitation of the Koran. There is also a juz 30 memorize program, which is a graduation requirement for prospective graduates and graduates," he explained.
He also emphasized the importance of maintaining closeness to the Koran in everyday life. Citing the hadith of Imam Bukhari's history, Rapuna reminded, "You should be the ones who study the Koran and teach it."
As a form of suggestion, Raveha invited all graduates to istiqamah in reading the Koran by taking special time every day.
"Just five minutes every day, read one verse. If it is done regularly, God willing, we will be closer to the Al Quran and be able to memorize it for a long time," he said.
As an appreciation for his achievements, Raveha and the graduates who memorized 30 juz received a Umrah gift from the Chairman of the PKS faction of the DPR RI, Dr H Jazuli Juwaini, MA.

At the end of his speech, Raveha expressed his gratitude to UMJ and all lecturers and staff for guidance during the study period. He called UMJ a place that not only provided medical knowledge, but also formed a religious character.
In the 2024/2025 academic year graduation procession, 1,186 UMJ students were officially declared to have graduated from the 12th Doctoral Program, 50th Masters, 7th Specialist, and 81st Bachelor.
