Ministry Of Transportation Remind Local Government, A Period Of Tightening Does Not Prohibit People From Traveling
JAKARTA - Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) Budi Setiyadi emphasized the local government not to prohibit people from traveling during the tightening period before and after going home.
It is known, from April 22 to May 5 and May 18 to May 24, the government has tightened travel requirements to minimize the mobility of people who are going back and forth.
"I invite all parties, especially the regional government, that we will accommodate the movement of the people (during the tightening period)," Budi said during a meeting at Mangkang Type A Terminal, Saturday, May 1.
This, said Budi, is so that implementation in the field is not much different from the intent and purpose of Task Force Circular Letter Number 13 of 2021 and Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 13 of 2021.
"During the travel period before the homecoming ban, April 22 to May 5, 2021, they only check the travel conditions," he said.
However, Budi appealed to the public not to carry out homecoming movements before and after that date in order to reduce the risk of spreading the spread of COVID-19.
"On this occasion I appeal to the whole community to adhere to the policy on the prohibition of homecoming that has been established by the government, considering that the increase in COVID-19 cases is still increasing," said Budi.
The protocol is that travelers for air, train, sea and sea crossings two weeks before and one week after the homecoming ban are required to show a certificate of negative RT-PCR test results or antigen rapid test, the samples of which are taken a maximum of 1x24 hours before departure.
If you want to use GeNose, do it just before departure. Then, the traveler must fill out Indonesia's e-HAC.
Especially for routine trips by sea transportation mode for limited shipping within the area of one sub-district / regency / province or urban agglomeration area (Jabodetabek) are not required to show a negative test result letter.
The protocol for land public transportation travelers will be a randomized rapid test antigen or GeNose test by the respective regional COVID-19 Task Force.
On private land transportation travelers, they are advised to carry out the RT-PCR test or antigen rapid test, the samples of which are taken a maximum of 1x24 hours before departure. You can also test the GeNose C19 in the rest area as a requirement to continue your trip. Then, a random test will be carried out if the regional COVID-19 Task Force is needed.
