Roy Suryo Still Doubts The Authenticity Of Jokowi's Diplomas, Even Though The Criminal Investigation Department Has Mentioned The Authentication

JAKARTA - Telematics expert Roy Suryo still doubts the authenticity of the diploma of the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Although, Bareskrim Polri based on the results of the investigation and forensic laboratory tests stated that the document was identical.

According to him, doubts still surround him because the police's process of proving was only the beginning.

"The results of the Puslabfor Polri Headquarters are not final, they are only one part of the proof process and are not authentic results, just identical," said Roy Suyo to VOI, Friday, May 23.

In addition, the identification sheet is also considered not transparent. In fact, the announcement of the authenticity of Jokowi's diploma actually had an impact on the fall of the image of the Police.

Because, in the process, the National Police did not show Jokowi's diploma which was called genuine and legal.

"Just look at the mostly public opinion, so it doubted the result and dropped the image of the National Police Headquarters, especially since the original diploma was not shown," said Roy Suryo.

Previously reported, Bareskrim Polri confirmed that the certificate belonging to the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was an original and valid document. This is based on the results of an in-depth investigation and forensic test.

"From all the results of the examination and forensic laboratory tests, we can conclude that Joko Widodo's diploma documents are genuine and legal," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro.

Not only forensic tests, conclusions were drawn based on the results of the examination of dozens of witnesses, including from the reporting party or complainant, namely the Ulama Defenders Team and Activists (TPUA).

"We have examined 39 witnesses, including UGM, alumni, lecturers, high school, and one defendant, namely Joko Widodo," he said.
