Auto2000 Ready To Handle Yaris Cross Recall Related To Panoramic Roof
JAKARTA PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) officially announced a recall program for the Yaris Cross model, especially related to the Panoramic Roof Glass component which has the potential to experience less perfect installation.
This problem arises in the use of primary glass, which is the base layer on a very crucial glass before the next coating process. In a number of units of certain Yaris Cross production, it is known that there is a potential for such primary glass not to be applied optimally. This can pose a risk of glass regardless of the frame of the vehicle.
In response to this, the official dealer network such as Auto2000 immediately made thorough preparations to handle the affected units.
Auto2000 Chief Executive, Anton Jimmi Suwandy, emphasized that his party is ready to fully support the repair process in order to maintain customer comfort and safety.
"Toyota and Auto2000 commitments are openness to customers. We want to make sure every car remains in top condition," he said when met in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area, Jakarta, Thursday, May 22.

Anton also added that this handling process will run efficiently thanks to the facilities and technicians of Auto2000 who are experienced in handling Toyota vehicles.
"Especially for the new Yaris Cross, we are optimistic that customers can come to the workshop soon. We have prepared all the facilities and equipment," he added.
The affected Yaris Cross model is a production between May 2023 and November 2024, especially Type 1.5 S HV CVT and 1.5 S HV CVT with GR Parts Aero Package. The Panoramic Glass Roof with Power Sun Economy feature is indeed one of the attractions in this type.
Examination of the Panoramic roof component is estimated to take about 1.5 hours. If it takes replacement of the components, the handling can take up to 4 hours, depending on the condition of the unit being examined.
