Rismon Sianipar Absent From The Metro Police Call For Allegations Of Jokowi's Fake Diplomas

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya said the witness with the initials Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar (RHS) did not attend the invitation to clarify the report on the alleged fake diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"The RS brother told the investigative team that he was unable to attend today for information," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 22.

When confirmed regarding the reason the RHS witness was not present, Ade Ary said that he did not explain in detail.

Rismon Sianipar is rescheduled for his statement regarding the alleged fake diploma case.

"Just saying I'm unable to attend, later please schedule it for Monday (26/5)," he said.

Until now, Polda Metro has taken information from 29 witnesses regarding this incident.

"So, in the investigation process, the facts will be collected from the statements of the witnesses, then from the evidence submitted by the parties, the testing is carried out, verification is carried out, until a laboratory examination is carried out on some of the necessary evidence," he explained.

Ade Ary explained that Jokowi's report on Wednesday (30/4) at the Polda Metro Jaya Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) began with a video on social media containing statements of slander and defamation.

"The chronology of the case reported was on March 26, 2025, around Karet Kuningan, South Jakarta, where the reporter as the victim was aware of a video of slander and defamation with a false S1 diploma statement belonging to the reporter," he said.

Then, the complainant asked his personal assistant and his attorney to collect evidence from various social media and reminded those who made statements and content containing slander and defamation.

"As stated, among them are the complainant with the initials RHS, RSN, TT, ES, and KTR," said Ade Ary.
