Sri Mulyani Will Inaugurate The Director General Of Customs And Taxes Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati is rumored to be soon inaugurating Lieutenant General (Letjen) TNI Djaka Budi Utama as Director General of Customs and Excise, and Bimo Wijayanto as Director General of Taxes on Friday, May 22.

Based on information circulating, the inauguration will take place behind closed doors at the Mezanine Hall of the Ministry of Finance's Djuanda Building at 09.30 WIB.

Previously, Djaka Budi Utama was the Main Secretary at the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), while Bimo Wijayanto was a former Assistant Deputy for Strategic Investment at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment.

For information, the Director General of Customs and Excise is currently held by Askolani, while the Director General of Taxes is currently occupied by Suryo Utomo.

Head of the Communication and Information Services Bureau of the Ministry of Finance Deni Surjantoro confirmed the truth regarding the inauguration of several officials at the Ministry of Finance on Friday, May 22, 2025.
