Saeful Bahri's Confession, Create A Bribery Scenario For PAW Harun Masiku With Donny Tri Istiqomah
JAKARTA - Former PDI-Perjuangan cadre, Saeful Bahri admitted that the bribe for the management of the Inter-Time Substitution (PAW) Harun Masiku was a scenario he made with Donny Tri Istiqomah.
He conveyed this confession in response to Febri Diansyah, lawyer for the Secretary General of PDIP, Hasto Kristiyanto, who alluded to his statement regarding the General Elections Commission (KPU) bribery.
"Earlier, you emphasized this, 'the direction of the secretary general is general' So this is the general point, right? What you mentioned earlier was what the party's decision was carried out, right? The rest you said 'I created myself, it's my fault because I bribed it and I have already accounted for it' You said that's true, right?" asked Febri during a trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Thursday, May 22.
"That's right," replied Saeful Bahri.
"So what I read earlier is indeed Pak Saeful's confession, right?" asked Febri to make sure.
"Yes," said Saeful Bahri agreeing.
Febri questioned the 'create' context in question. At that time, Saeful Bahri stated that bribery was a scenario he made with Donny Tri Istiqomah.
"So you see, I'm not here alone, I'm both with Dony. And from my culture with my donny and senior seniors starting from the extra-campus organization, all orders are sufficient conditions," said Saeful Bahri.
"Let's just clear this, sir, create it, it means you made it with Donny, right, sir?" asked Febri.
"Yes," replied Saeful Bahri while explaining that he had prepared several other plans in the management of PAW Harun Masiku.
Hearing this testimony, Febri then questioned whether Hasto Kristiyanto's order was behind the scenario of bribing the KPU in an effort to smooth Harun Masiku to become a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Saeful firmly stated that there was no order from the Secretary General of PDIP.
"When Mr. Saeful compiled with Donny to draw up a scenario to bribe the KPU, was there an order from Mr. Hasto for the scenario to bribe KPu?" asked Febri.
"Yes, I said earlier, nothing," said Saeful Bahri.
