Sony Will Stop PlayStation Stars Loyalty Program Starting November 2, 2026

JAKARTA - Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it will stop the PlayStation Stars loyalty program on November 2 next year.

For your information, PlayStation Stars is a loyalty program for the players, where they will get prizes including unique Digital Collectibles from certain games.

In its announcement, the Vice President, Network Advertising, SIE Licensed Loyalty & Merchandise, Grace Chen, said that the program will no longer accept new members starting today, and there will be no more new campaigns starting July 23.

"Through the evaluation, we decided to refocus our efforts and will stop the current version of the PlayStation Stars," Grace Chen said in her official announcement.

Chen reminded that members who cancel membership will no longer be able to rejoin and will lose all points that have been collected.

In addition, the collection of Digital Collectibles, points, and status improvements will still be carried out until July 23, 2025. Before this program is permanently suspended, points that have not expired can still be exchanged until that date.

And what needs to be noted is that PlayStation Stars members can still access their Digital Collection Goods even after these changes take effect.

"We would like to thank all our players who have supported the PlayStation Stars since its launch in 2022," Chen added.
