Government Reveals Capai KUR Distribution Of IDR 96.75 Trillion Until May 16, 2025

JAKARTA - The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs revealed that the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) nationally has reached more productive business actors in accessing financing through formal financial institutions.

Deputy for Coordination of BUMN Business Management and Development of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Ferry Irawan conveyed that until May 16, 2025, KUR distribution was Rp. 96.75 trillion to 1.7 million debtors.

" Qualityily, KUR is also distributed prudently with a national non-performing loan (NPL) rate of 2.03 percent," he said in his statement, Thursday, May 22.

Ferry said that the Government also encourages KUR to be accessed by productive business actors more widely and can increase their business capacity.

As for the position in March 2025, the number of new debtors who accessed KUR was 544.298 KUR debtors and the number of KUR debtors who managed to advance to class was 293.082 KUR debtors.

The portion of KUR distribution in the productive sector also continues to be increased. In the position of April 30, 2025, the portion of KUR distribution to the productive sector is 59.4 percent. This is a tangible form of the Government in supporting business improvement in the productive sector, including the fisheries sector and the tourism sector," he explained.

On the other hand, the distribution of KUR in the fisheries sector is IDR 1.49 trillion and the distribution of KUR in the tourism sector is IDR 5.84 trillion, consisting of the sector providing accommodation and providing food and drink as well as transportation, warehousing and communication.

"To support productive businesses, including in the fisheries sector, the distribution of KUR provides concessions in the form of providing repeated KUR access four times for Micro and Small KUR schemes," he said.

Ferry said that in a journey that almost reached ten years, the distribution of the Interest Subsidy Scheme KUR did show the Government's real commitment to continue to provide easy and cheap access to financing to business actors in the productive sector.

He emphasized that the improvement in the quality and quantity of KUR distribution will also continue to be carried out so that this program provides a wider multiplier effect for the national economy, and direct benefits are felt by productive business actors, so that they can continue to increase their business capacity in facing various challenges.

"There are several KUR schemes that can be utilized, such as Super Micro KUR with a ceiling of up to Rp. 10 million, Micro KUR with a ceiling of more than Rp. 10 million to Rp. 100 million, and Small KUR with a ceiling of more than Rp. 100 million to Rp. 500 million," he said.
