Toyota Recall All New Yaris Cross In Indonesia, What Causes It?

Toyota urges All New Yaris Cross users from May 2023 to November 2024 to check at the official workshop, due to the potential for installation that has not been optimal for Panoramic Roof Glass and repairs if needed, free of charge.

He further said that the move was part of Toyota's efforts to ensure customers always felt safe and calm with Toyota.

Panoramic Glass Roof with Power Sun Economy is a standard feature in Toyota Yaris Cross type 1.5 S HV CVT and 1.5 S HV CVT with GR Parts Aero Package. Toyota detected an unoptimal installation potential in Toyota Yaris Cross's Toyota Yaris Cross type 1.5 S HV CVT and 1.5 S HV CVT with GR Parts Aero Package for production year May 2023 November 2024.

In vehicles with a panoramic roof, there is primary glass, which is a layer or material that is used as the basis for the glass surface before the next layer application. Its function is to increase the strength of the fracture between the glass surface and the panel, especially on the unpoiled glass surface.

At the Yaris Cross for a certain production year, there are indications of a less than optimal primary glass installation during the production process.
