People's Stories With 1,500 Artists And Traditional Clothing Will Be Shown At The Sabang Merauke 2025 Performance
JAKARTA - The Sabang Merauke - The Indonesian Broadway 2025 performance is ready to greet the audience again with the largest cultural arts spectacular in Indonesia. This year, the Sabang Merauke Performance carries the theme Hikayat Nusantara, which will be held on August 23-24 at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta.
This year's event will involve more than 1,500 artists and supporters, who present the stories of the legendary Indonesian people. Starting from Yuyu Kangkang, Si Tumang, Malin Kundang, Mahadewi, and Charcoal Candidates.
The ceremony is packaged in a colossal format of a magnificent and educational international standard broadway theatrical. Traditional and modern music, orchestra, as well as traditional and contemporary dances will accompany the performance.

Priyo Oktaviano said that the designer Arabics will make various traditional Indonesian clothing, which is adjusted to the director's request. The traditional clothing is also modified with various techniques to create stunning costumes that will be worn by the performers.

"We make modifications to traditional Indonesian fabrics, we coordinate several designers within the Indonesian Fashion Designers Association to interpret colors, provide details with a touch of embroidery, embroidery, and other applications," he continued.
