Thousands Of People Participate In Singing At The Boyz II Men & Kahitna Live In Jakarta Concert On The First Day

JAKARTA - Thousands of people filled Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, May 21 evening. For more than three hours, they were treated to dozens of songs performed by Boyz II Men and Kahitna.

Through a concert titled Boyz II Men & Kahitna Live in Jakarta, Rajawali Indonesia as the promoter, managed to bring together two icons of romantic music between countries. The warmth was so felt from every audience who together sang.

Kahitna appeared first. They performed 14 repertoires of songs, starting with an 'Waiting' emotional ballad song which was immediately greeted by loud applause from the audience.

Other hits continue to be sung, including 'Love Story', 'If He Knows', 'For me', 'Soulmate', 'Self Love', to 'Beautiful'.

In the midst of Kahitna's appearance, Yovie Widianto invited the audience to celebrate Yovie & Nuno's 24th birthday. As a form of respect, Kahitna also gave tribute by performing the song Suciji.

Tonight, our friends celebrate their 24th anniversary, and our brothers and sisters who excel get MTV Asia and many Ami Award awards. Yovie & Nuno, happy birthday," said the keyboardist.

"As a gift for Yovie & Nuno, we ask our friends for help singing the song Yovie & Nuno," he continued.

The concert continued with the appearance of Boyz II Men which was interspersed by a hiatus of about half an hour which charmed thousands of spectators with the melody and beautiful harmony of Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Wakya Morris.

The Boyz II Men hits that accompany love stories are performed one by one, such as 'Water Runs Dry', 'On Bended Knee', One Sweet Day, I'll Make Love To You', to End Of The Road.

It didn't stop there, the Philadelphia group also performed covers of songs from Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke, Lenny Kravitz, Bruno Mars, The Beatles, to Prince.

"Thank you," said Shawn Stockman, who tried to learn Indonesian directly from the audience in front of him.

Last night's Boyz II Men & Kahitna Live in Jakarta concert was only one of two scheduled shows. Two icons of different countries' romantic music will also appear tonight, with all tickets sold out.
