Gelimang Sukses At Real Madrid, Casemiro Calls This Season At Manchester United One Of The Best In Careers
JAKARTA - Casemiro has won 18 trophies, including five Champions Leagues, during his career at Real Madrid.
However, the Brazil international named his current season with Manchester United who are in 16th place in the Premier League standings, who are also in the Europa League final, as one of the most successful seasons of his career.
The 33-year-old is likely to leave Old Trafford in January 2025 after failing to impress Manager Ruben Amorim, who took over the club in November 2024.
It's just that, he then re-entered into Amorium's plans at the end of the season and emerged as a key figure on their way to the Europa League final, with goals in both legs of the semifinals against Athletic Club.
"Ini adalah salah satu musim yang menurut saya paling membuat saya bangga karena sudah lama sekali saya tidak mengalami momen seperti ini, yaitu saat pelatih tidak mengandalkan Anda, tetapi Anda terus bekerja keras, terus melakukan hal-hal dengan baik."

"You certainly want to win the title, but one of the most successful seasons of my career. Without a doubt, that is this season. To turn things around, with hard work and dedication," Casemiro said in an interview with Brazil's ESPN.
The change in luck and performance has won praise from former Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, who calls him a fighter.
"I can only thank him for his words because Rio Ferdinand is one of the idols at Old Trafford."
"We see the love the supporters have for him. Without a doubt, it is a source of pride."
"My season is undoubtedly a source of pride, especially the moment I am experiencing."
"I don't think people stop playing football, people don't forget how to play football in three or six months."
"This must be a source of pride for me to hear from a club idol, my idol, someone I admire and respect."
"I think despite criticism, because criticism is in football, if it's constructive criticism, fair criticism, I think it's acceptable."
"However, I don't think the lack of manners is acceptable. This person (Rio Ferdinand) is one of the people who always respects me, always has great affection for me."
"So, I think I should be grateful, I should be grateful. I am very proud of my season this year," said Casemiro.
