China Confirmed To Lose 3 Players Against The Indonesian National Team

JAKARTA - China will face the Indonesian national team in the 2026 World Cup Qualification continued match. However, in an important agenda held in Jakarta on June 5, 2025, three of their players were confirmed to be absent.

The three players who could not strengthen the team were Jiang Shenglong, Xie Wenneng, and Lin Liangming. They are still struggling with injury recovery.

In fact, China has not officially released a list of players who will be brought up against the Indonesian national team. However, the list of 28 players who will be brought up has been leaked and spread on social media.

From the list of 28 players in circulation, there are no names of Shenglong, Wenneng, and Liangming. In fact, the three played for China in a 2-1 win over the Indonesian national team in October 2024.

At that time, Shenglong and Wenneng started, while Liangming was a substitute. The absence of these three players is believed to make China's defense weaken.

This situation is clearly a serious blow to China, which really needs victory against Indonesia.

Currently, China is the caretaker of Group C with six points. If they lose to Indonesia, the chance to qualify for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Fourth Round will be closed.

You see, they will no longer be able to catch up with Indonesia's points and other teams. Currently, the Garuda Squad ranks fourth in Group C with nine points.

With one more win, the Indonesian national team will have 12 points that can at least take them to fourth place to advance to the fourth round.

On the other hand, the Indonesian national team under the direction of Patrick Kluivert will summon 32 players to prepare for the match against China. The training camp will take place in Bali starting May 26, 2025.
