In Front Of Oil And Gas Entrepreneurs, Prabowo Admits He Is Proud To Successfully Produce Food To Potential EBT
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto said he was proud of his six-month achievements in the food sector, serving as the number one person in Indonesia.
Prabowo said that food production during his government managed to exceed the target set at the beginning of his tenure.
This was conveyed by Prabowo in front of the upstream oil and gas industry players at the IPA Convention and Exhibition 2025 which took place at ICE BSD City.
"I am grateful, I am proud, I thank you for all the elements that brought us in a short time only a few months we are responsible for the Indonesian government," he said Wednesday, May 21.
He admitted that the food, rice and corn reserves in government-owned warehouses had exceeded capacity and even became the highest since Indonesia was established.
In fact, he continued, there was a concern that existing government-owned warehouses would not be able to accommodate the existing harvest and ask for the construction of a new storage warehouse.
"Since the history of Indonesia, rice and corn reserves in government warehouses are the largest in Indonesia's history. Even a few moments ago we were worried that there would be not enough warehouses to accommodate the production," he explained.
Despite exceeding expectations, Prabowo said, the achievement of the food sector is not something complicated.
He claims, the most important thing is that the nyang policy set out to achieve the harvest is a policy that makes sense and is oriented towards the interests of the nation.
This is in accordance with President Prabowo's Asta Cita in the food sector.
Not only in the food sector, Prabowo also highlighted the potential for an energy field in Indonesia that is abundant and has the potential to be developed for self-sufficiency in energy towards Indonesia Gold 2045.

"We are very optimistic that soon we will not only be self-sufficient in energy, we will return to supply energy to the world," he said.
