Erick Thohir Soal Laporan BUMN Tahan Ijazah Pekerja: Nanti Saya Getok
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir opened his voice about the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) report regarding many state-owned companies that detained their employees' diplomas.
Furthermore, Erick admitted that he would take action against SOEs who were caught holding the employee's diploma.
"Not yet (there is a report), not yet (there is). If there is a BUMN later I will get it," he told reporters written Wednesday, May 21.
Erick admitted that he was surprised by the phenomenon of detention of diplomas for workers. He also asked what was the purpose of the detention of employee diplomas.
"What do you want a diploma for? Is it trending again?", he said.
For your information, the Ministry of Manpower revealed that many SOEs have detained their employees' diplomas.
Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan said that based on the results of the massive report to the Labor Tanya Wamen (BTW) channel, several employees admitted that their diplomas were withheld by state-owned companies.
