Monitoring The Pulang Sakit Sehat Program From The Morowali Regency Government
Equity of health services is a top priority in regional development, especially in areas that have geographical challenges. To answer this need, local governments are required to present innovative solutions that are able to reach all levels of society, including those living in remote areas.
Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, is one of the real examples of this commitment through the launch of a flagship program called "Pick Supput, Healthy Homecoming."
The Regent of Morowali, Iksan Baharudin Abdul Rauf, said that this program is part of the local government's strategy to improve access to health services evenly. With the pick-up approach, people who are far from health facilities such as health centers and hospitals can still get medical services quickly and efficiently.
"The 'Sick Singles, Healthy Homecoming' program is designed to make it easier for people, especially those in remote areas, so they can still get health services without obstacles," said Regent Iksan as quoted by ANTARA.

He explained that this program will continue to be developed in stages in order to reach all sub-districts in Morowali Regency. Not only that, the local government also plans to bring a mobile ambulance equipped with a health check facility to serve residents directly at their location.
"If there are residents who feel unwell, even though they are far from the hospital or health center, they can still seek treatment. The ambulance will come directly," he said.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the government's commitment is not limited to the health sector. The Morowali Regency Government also continues to encourage progress in the education sector. One of the concrete efforts is the provision of free education programs for new students, including the procurement of school uniforms for Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP) levels.
"For the new school year, we have prepared a budget to distribute free uniforms to new elementary and junior high school students. This is part of my commitment that I have to fulfill to the community," said Regent Iksan.
Through these strategic programs, the Morowali Regency Government seeks to ensure that the welfare of the community can be realized thoroughly, both in terms of health and education.
