Bureaucratic Reform, Bogor City Government Cuts Licensing Paths To A Day

BOGOR Bogor City Government (Pemkot) launched a 'Integration Smart Licensing Service' program with the concept of Smart One Day Service, which is aimed at accelerating and simplifying the licensing process digitally.

The launch of this program was held in the courtyard of the Bogor City Regional General Hospital (RSUD) on Tuesday, May 20. This program is an innovation of the Bogor City One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) in collaboration with a number of regional apparatus organizations (OPD).

Bogor Mayor, Dedie A. Rachim, said this program is a real step to provide efficient public services in the midst of the fiscal power of Bogor City which is included in the top 10 nationally.

"From this innovation, Bogor City wants to try to provide excellent service to the community through smart one day service, where there are several services that we can complete enough in one day," said Dedie.

Several types of licensing services included in this program include the manufacture of Business Identification Numbers (NIB), Building Building Approval (PBG) for low-income people (MBR), extension of Medical and Health Personnel Practice Permits (SIP), permission to implement billboards, and ball pick-up services for medical personnel at Bogor City Hospital.

The process is short, only about three hours. Starting from data input, synchronization, to the official permit print, "he explained.

The choice of the hospital as the launch location is not without reason. Dedie said there were around 700 nurses and dozens of doctors who could immediately experience the ease of the service.

"We pick up the ball, especially for nurses and doctors. They don't need to take care of days' permits or face complicated bureaucracy. The process is fast and remains official," he added.

He also said that this service would later be carried out mobile in various locations to bring services closer to the community.

The head of the Bogor City DPMPTSP, Atep Budiman, explained that this program was born from the mayor's direction to provide excellent service in the licensing sector. The entire process has now been integrated and electronic-based.

"We formulate this program together with the relevant OPD, and today it is officially launched. Hopefully, this service will also support a conducive investment climate in Bogor City," said Atep.

He added that this step was part of the vision to create a developed and prosperous city of Bogor for the entire community.
