This Is The New Generation Of Toyota RAV4, A Hybrid SUV For All Medan
Toyota has finally introduced the latest generation of RAV4 that automotive observers have been waiting for around the world. This car features a different style but retains a tough and charming impression.
Carrying the concept of "Life Is an Adventure", this sixth-generation RAV4 offers that were upgraded from previous models and have been refined for mobility needs around the world.
Reporting from the manufacturer's official website, Wednesday, May 21, this car combines three design elements such as "Big Foot" which emphasizes large diameter tires, "Life Up" to drive off-road capable, and "Utility" by prioritizing practicality.
The well-known Japanese manufacturer also offers three different exterior options for the latest RAV4, namely the Core which is suitable for urban areas with a bumper and gripping design combined, then the Adventure by prioritizing typical offroad capabilities with different overfender adoption and rim sizes, and GR Sport for a sporty look from the grILL matrix combined front and rear spoilers to improve aerodynamics to better driving stability.
Especially for the GR Sport variant, the SUV has an application of a 20 mm wider site and Electric Power Steering (EPS).
The manufacturer designed a more spacious and modern interior by lowering the surface of the instrument panel by about 40 mm.
The instrument panel is designed more horizontally which makes it easier to maintain balance as an SUV, this architecture offers increased usability by regulating navigation systems, meteran, and other elements in such a way that eye movements are reduced, and by positioning registers so that they can be directly reached.
The digitization system has been optimally improved with extensive connectivity for mobile phones. Then, the storage space is also maximized in order to be able to accommodate a lot of goods.

Toyota claims that the baggage capacity in the latest RAV4 has been expanded from 733 liters to 749 liters. This is thanks to the more flat back seat support when folded, the longer storage ease of goods has also been increased.
The latest RAV4 is offered in the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) option armed with a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine combined with a fifth-generation hybrid system, thus removing 226 hp for FWD and 236 hp for AWD drivers.
Meanwhile, the Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) option was also present to combine a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine with a dual electric motor and a large capacity battery, resulting in a combined output of up to 320 hp.
The PHEV system in this car has also been upgraded by 20 percent longer distance with pure electricity from 67 km to 80 km.
Unfortunately, Toyota does not want to reveal the price of this model. However, it is certain that the sixth generation of RAV4 will be sold in Japan before the end of 2025.
