Honda Releases ZR-V Price Adjustment And Refreshment In Japan, Take A Peek At Changes

Honda announced it would start sales of a refresher version of ZR-V for the Japanese market, including the launch of a new price for this compact SUV.

Reporting from Japanese media Car Watch, Tuesday, May 20, the car will receive price updates ranging from 3,634,400 yen to 4,582,600 yen (Rp411.7 million to Rp519.1 million) for types of RS e:HeV or hybrid.

For the pure gasoline variant, the manufacturer bearing the "H" logo is also starting to sell it for 3,284,600 yen to 4,104,100 yen (equivalent to Rp372 million to Rp464.9 million).

This latest price is in response to rising raw material prices and global logistics costs.

The refresh on the model includes the adoption of a new exterior paint that was first applied to the Civic Hospital and Freed.

The clear material used in paint has been replaced from conventional melamin acrylic materials into more functional materials, thus making the body more shiny and durable more than 1.5 times compared to the previous version.

Honda provides six color options for this latest ZR-V model, namely Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic, Nordic Forest Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Super Platinum Gray Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Midnight Blue Beam Metallic.

Both pure and hybrid gasoline variants are available in two driving options, namely 2WD and 4WD.

For pure gasoline, the Honda ZR-V is equipped with a VTEC 1.5 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine coupled with CVT automatic transmission which has the characteristics of fine-tooth change.

Meanwhile, a hybrid option is offered with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine combined with two electric motors and a small capacity battery. The heart will cooperate with eCVT transmission specifically for hybrid engines.

Honda will open the tap for new ZR-V orders on May 29 and release them on June 3.
