The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Is Still Searching The Ministry Of Manpower To Find Evidence Of Corruption Cases In Placement Of Foreign Workers

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still searching the office of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) on Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, today. This activity is based on a new investigation warrant (sprindik) issued this week.

"It's true, the KPK team is conducting a search at the Ministry of Manpower," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, May 20.

Budi has not yet detailed the search. However, this forced attempt is confirmed to look for evidence of alleged corruption that is being handled.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, said that a suspect had been named. However, he has not detailed further.

"(Sprindik, red) is new," he said.

"(Regarding, red) bribes and/or gratuities related to foreign workers," concluded Fitroh.
