Wiranto Is Reluctant To Get Bored Even Though He Occupies A Spare Bench In The Menpora Cup, Ready To Show Off In League I
JAKARTA - The young Borneo FC player, Wiranto, does not want to bring feelings (baper) and will prove his best ability in the 2021 League 1 competition. Because during the Menpora Cup yesterday, Wiranto has never competed.
"If the time comes, I will certainly give the best of what I have. The important thing now is that I have to work hard in every training," Wiranto said on the club's official website as quoted by Antara, Friday, April 30.
Borneo FC coach Mario Gomez sent many young players to the Menpora Cup to provide competitive experience as well as train players' mentality.
Unfortunately, from a number of young players, the name Wiranto has never been glimpsed by coach Mario Gomez.
The player with the central defender position did not get a chance because of the many competitions. There are figures of Javlon Guseynov, Andika Kurniawan, Wildansyah, Komang Teguh, and Nurdiansyah.
In fact, some players like Komang Teguh were pushed forward to become defensive midfielders so they could get a chance to play. Incidentally, Komang is used to playing in that position.
"I still think I haven't had the fortune to play in official matches. But that's okay, because it is my motivation to be able to continue to develop during training and be ready to play when I get a chance to play," said Wiranto.
The player who was born on November 14, 1999 admitted that not getting any minutes to play in the Menpora Cup would not affect him mentally.
In fact, the player with 170 centimeters in height considers it a motivation to train harder so he can give better.
"There is no problem mentally. Not playing in the Menpora Cup does not make me mentally discouraged and I don't want to work hard anymore. In fact, I will work harder to compete with other players," he said. At the Menpora Cup 2021, Pesut Etam was eliminated early in the Group B preliminary round.
