WONOSOBO - A landslide that blocked the road on the Wonosobo-Dieng route, precisely in Tieng Village, Kejajar, Wonosobo Regency has been overcome and can be passed again.
According to the Head of BPBD Wonosobo Regency, Dudy Wardoyo, the landslide incident occurred at around 03.00 WIB, Monday, May 19.
To overcome the landslide, heavy equipment was deployed to get rid of the material.
According to Dudy, at around 10:00 WIB the road could be passed again.
Previously, traffic access from both directions was closed due to avalanche material covering the entire road.
The avalanche comes from a cliff about 25 meters high with a width of 7 meters.
"The landslide material in the form of soil and large stones covered the road, so Wonosobo-Dieng access was completely paralyzed," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

The traffic system was implemented to be open-closed at around 09.30 WIB. However, material evacuation is still ongoing," he said.
