MilkLife Soccer Challenge Solo 2025 recorded a very significant surge in participants. Starting from 389 students in Series I 2024, then 830 participants in Series II 2024, and now the figure has reached 1,016 students.
Djarum Foundation's Director of Sports Service, Yoppy Rosimin, said that the increase in participant quantities showed students' will and interest in exploring the world of football is getting bigger.
"We are committed to continuing to encourage the growth of the women's soccer ecosystem from an early age level and participating in various national and international tournaments," said Yoppy.
Previously, two participants from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge from Solo competed in the JSSL Singapore 7's 2025 event in April 2025. This also encourages and inspires other students.
Assistant coach of MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Asep Sunarya, said that the talent of female footballers in Solo continues to grow. He said the talent team had even pocketed dozens of talented players who could be honed.
"We have received approximately 60 names who will be called up for extra training. This number is very encouraging because it will definitely be more competitive in the next series," he said.
