BMKG Predicts Rain In Parts Of Jakarta On Monday Afternoon

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas of DKI Jakarta will experience rain on Monday, May 19, 2025, especially in the afternoon.

In the morning, the entire Jakarta area is expected to be cloudy. The air temperature ranges from 28 to 32 degrees Celsius with humidity between 61 to 81 percent. Meanwhile, wind speed is estimated to be in the range of 2.2 to 10.5 kilometers per hour.

Entering the afternoon, most areas of Jakarta will still be cloudy. However, West Jakarta is expected to be cloudy, South Jakarta has light rain, and the Thousand Islands will be sunny.

The air temperature is estimated to be between 29 and 33 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 56 to 74 percent. Wind speeds range from 0.9 to 13.2 kilometers per hour.

In the afternoon, light rain is forecasted to fall in almost all areas of Jakarta, except for West Jakarta which experiences moderate rain and the Thousand Islands which remain sunny.

The air temperature is estimated to be in the range of 27 to 30 degrees Celsius with humidity between 71 and 83 percent. Wind speeds range from 3.1 to 10.1 kilometers per hour.

In the evening, the weather in most areas of Jakarta is predicted to be cloudy. However, East Jakarta and North Jakarta are forecasted to experience rain accompanied by lightning, while the Thousand Islands remain sunny.

The air temperature at night is estimated to be in the range of 27 to 29 degrees Celsius with humidity 80 to 86 percent. Wind speed is estimated to be between 1.8 to 12.8 kilometers per hour.

In the early hours of Tuesday, May 20, 2025, most of Jakarta will be cloudy, except for the Kepulauan Seribu which is still sunny. The air temperature is in the range of 26 to 29 degrees Celsius with 80 to 93 percent humidity. The wind speed is estimated to be between 2.2 to 9.9 kilometers per hour.
