Rano Karno Chooses Cannes, Pramono To The Holy Land During Megawati's Briefing Of Regional Heads, Ganjar: Permits

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri has finished providing a closed briefing at the PDIP regional head briefing event throughout Indonesia which was held for three days, from Friday to Sunday, May 18.

The event which took place at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta was attended by 115 regional heads. However, several figures were not present, including DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung and Deputy Governor Rano Karno.

Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Regional Government and Autonomy Ganjar Pranowo said both had submitted permission not to attend because they had other agendas.

"(Pramono) wants to have a pilgrimage," he said. If Rano Karno is at the Cannes Film Festival again. Yesterday, permission," said Ganjar when met at the event location, Sunday, May 18.

Ganjar added that a number of other regional heads were also unable to attend because they were carrying out their duties outside the city or other important activities. Even so, PDIP will still hold a follow-up briefing session for those who have not had time to attend.

"Later we will make (the briefing) again for those who haven't," he said.

During the three days of briefing, regional heads are equipped with strategic materials and asked to build a commitment to determine development targets in their respective regions, including in terms of improving the quality of human resources.

"The commitment was built, signed for them to share experiences and start returning home to determine development targets," said Ganjar.

In addition, the regional head of PDIP was also asked to describe a political promise-based work program during the election campaign, but still within the party's ideological line corridor.

"The party has a state function as part of the pillar of democracy. So if you already have the same thoughts, it must be implemented. Now we want to combine ideological and technocratic thoughts so that their achievements are measurable," said the former Governor of Central Java.

A number of regional heads who attended included Bali Governor Wayan Koster, Yogyakarta Mayor Hasto Wardoyo, Semarang Mayor Agustina Wilujeng, and Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi.
