Banten Police Still Making Efforts To Pick Up Suspects For Forgery Of Land Certificates At PIK 2
JAKARTA - Investigators from the Banten Police visited Charlie Chandra's residence in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta, on the evening of Saturday 17 May. The presence of the officers at the location was related to Charlie's pick-up attempt after the land conflict case file that ensnared him was declared complete or P21.
In the pick-up, Charlie fought against police officers. He refused to be picked up by the Banten Police Ditreskrimum. Even until now the person concerned has not been successfully taken to the police station.
Head of Harda Bangtah Sub-Directorate of the Banten Police Ditreskrimum, AKBP Mirodin explained the reason for picking up. Because Charlie will soon be handed over to the prosecutor's office.
He explained that the investigators from the Banten Police Ditreskrimum had previously summoned the first suspect on April 22, 2025. However, Charlie Chandra was absent at the call.
Furthermore, on April 25, 2025, investigators from the Banten Police Ditreskrimum sent a summons for the second suspect. On April 29, 2025 at around 12.19 WIB Charlie Chandra accompanied by a legal representative arrived at the Banten Police to fulfill the investigator's summons.
Then, on May 15, 2025, investigators from the Banten Police Ditreskrimum received a P21 letter from the Banten High Prosecutor's Office stating that the criminal case file on behalf of Charlie Chandra had been declared complete.

Therefore, on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at noon, investigators from the Banten Police Ditreskrimum picked up Charlie Candra at his residence in the Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta. However, the person concerned refused and resisted the officers.
"The current position is P21. Our purpose is to come here to bring CC's brother (Charlie Chandra) because stage 2. We have been here 24 hours. Until now, our investigators are still on standby around CC's residence and are still waiting for CC's good intentions to come out and follow the ongoing legal process," said Mirodin in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta, Sunday, May 18.
Tensions broke out at Charlie Chandra's residence on Saturday, May 17, the night when investigators asked the suspect to surrender and follow the ongoing legal process, but was blocked by attorney Charlie Chandra.
"So if there is a call from the Banten Police, we will come. We will fulfill the summons from investigators, even though this case is clearly a criminalization of victims of land confiscation by Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 developers," said Ghufron as Charlie Chandra's attorney.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Kombes Pol Didik Hariyanto, said that the Ditreskrimum of the Banten Police had come well to bring Charlie Chandra and then handed it over to the Banten High Prosecutor's Office. However, Charlie was not cooperative.
"Even then the door was locked, the light was turned off last night. Then the lawyer came and he said he tried to convey it but couldn't, finally the lawyer went home," he said.
He also appealed to Charlie Chandra to be cooperative with the police.
"The Monday must be brought, it must be handed over (to the Prosecutor's Office). It should be cooperative, he already knows according to the mandate of the law, if P21 is complete and the obligation of the Police to hand it over to the prosecutor's office, both the suspect and the evidence," he explained.
