Ragnar Oratmangoen Crossed Out, Kluiver Calls Sayuri Duo Against China And Japan

JAKARTA - Indonesian national team coach Patrick Kluivert called 32 players to join the Garuda squad against China and Japan in the Asian zone 2026 World Cup Qualification.

From the list of 32 players announced on Sunday, May 18, there is no name Ragnar Oratmangoen who is often the mainstay of the line ahead of the Indonesian national team. The player of Maluku descent is known to still be battling viral infection.

England's left-back Blackpool Elkan Bagot and Cyrus Margono, Super League club players Kosovo KF Dudangjini are also absent from the Patrick Kluivert squad.

Kluivert also called on players who stole the attention from League 1, such as Yacob Sayuri and his twin brother Yance Sayuri who both defended Maluku United.

There are also strikers Dewa United Egy Maulana Vikri and Septian Bagaskara, PSM Makassar goalkeeper Reza Arya, Borneo FC midfielder Stefano Lilipaly, and several other League 1 stars.

The players who are included in the Indonesian national team squad will undergo a training camp in Bali starting May 26, 2025.

The Indonesian national team will undergo two more matches in the Asian zone 2026 World Cup Qualification, namely against China at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Jakarta on June 5, 2025.

Then they will fly to Japan to face the Blue Samurai National Team at the Panasonic Stadium, Osaka on June 10, 2025.
