IKN Authority Calls Planting New Habit Trees At IKN Towards Forest City

PENAJAM PASER UTARA - Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) said tree planting is part of a new habit consistently carried out at IKN located in parts of the region. North Penajam Paser Regency and Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, to go to a sustainable forest city.

"The new habit tree plant is consistently carried out at IKN as a real effort towards a sustainable forest city," said Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono after planting trees with Real Estate Indonesia (REI) in Sepaku, Penajam Paser Utara, Saturday.

The REI group visited IKN in the 53rd series of anniversary of the developer and property association, one of the main agendas of planting 800 tree seedlings in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) of IKN.

The Head of the IKN Authority invited all participants to actively plant trees to support the creation of a green environment in IKN.

"Activities during the visit are a symbol of REI's support for sustainable development and environmental conservation at IKN," he said.

Basuki Hadimuljono also had the opportunity to provide an explanation of investment opportunities at IKN, to approximately 1,000 REI participants from various parts of Indonesia who visited the Indonesian capital.

Tree planting activities, according to the Chairperson of the REI DPP Joko Suranto, have a spiritual meaning and an intergenerational responsibility.

Planting trees is a way to love the earth and children and grandchildren, as well as alms because trees planted and cared for produce air can be the happiness of living things and Indonesia, he explained.
