Presenting Toba Traditional Music To Give Scholarships, Roemah Koffie Successfully Appears At WOC 2nd Day
JAKARTA - As sponsor of the 2025 Jakarta platinum World of Coffee (WOC), Roemah Koffie again brought a surprise at her booth.
On the second day of the international event, Roemah Koffie successfully brought visitors to know Indonesian culture, as well as enjoy quality Indonesian coffee.
Toba Customary Music Appearance
Every day, during the WOC event, Roemah Koffie displays the art of the area in herbooth. On the second day, the art shown still has the theme of North Sumatra. They brought musicians who played Taganing, Suling, Sarune, Hampi and Gong musical instruments.

This traditional musical appearance has succeeded in attracting the attention of many foreign visitors who are curious about the distinctive sound and dynamic rhythm. The strong Taganing rhythm combined with the sound of Sarune and Suling creating an atmosphere of traditional ceremonies in the Toba area.
Some visitors even took part in capturing this moment and had direct dialogue with musicians to get to know more about culture in North Sumatra. Through this performance,
Roemah Koffie not only introduces Indonesian coffee, but also celebrates the rich culture that accompanies it.
Giving Roemah Koffie Academy Scholarships To Students
To participate in developing human resources in the Indonesian coffee industry, Roemah Koffie through Roemah Koffie Academy provided 4 scholarships for students at the faculty.
Hospitality and Tourism at various universities. The selected universities include Bunda Mulia University (UBM), Prasetiya Mulya University, Pradita University, and Matana University.
The selected students will become students at the Roemah Koffie Academy and learn to be intensive to become professional coffee. Later, they will be directed according to their interests and skills. The professional world they can explore are: Barista, Latte Art, Brewing, Roasting, Quality Control, Coffee Sourcing, and Farming.
Through this program, Roemah Koffie not only provides technical lessons, but also builds the character and professional work ethic needed in the global coffee industry.
During the scholarship period, students will receive direct guidance from experienced professionals at Roemah Koffie, including national and professional certified national competition champions.
In addition, they will also be involved in concrete projects, including international-scale events, to expand their insights and network. This program is expected to be a bridge for the younger generation to help lift the quality of the Indonesian coffee industry to the world stage.
Immersive Experience At Giant Koffie Tins
Continuing the immersive experience that has been held since the first day, on the second day of the WOC implementation, the Immersive experience is still being invaded by visitors.
This Immersive experience is in the Giant Koffie Tins installation. Visitors can experience such as being in a coffee plantation, being subject to coffee beans, and seeing the traditional fabrics of North Sumatra flying.
This multi-sensory experience stimulates the emotions of visitors who seem to be invited to dive into the origins of Indonesian coffee. Natural sounds, fresh coffee aromas, and immersive visualization make visitors feel as if they are really in the middle of a stretch of coffee gardens in Batak soil.
Many visitors captured the moment and shared it on social media, making the Giant Koffie Tins installation one of the main attractions at the WOC that day.
Through this concept, Roemah Koffie managed to strengthen the narrative that Indonesian coffee is not just a commodity, but part of a rich and rooted cultural heritage.

On the first day of the WOC event, Roemah Koffie officially launched Koffie Tins, an exclusive canned packaging coffee innovation that combines quality coffee flavors with the rich culture of the archipelago.
Each tin of Koffie Tins features an Indonesian culture and tradition-themed artwork, making it an artistic and collective-valued product.
