Aircraft Product Of PT Dirgantara Indonesia Strengthens Air Squadron 4
JAKARTA - Air Squadron 4 Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base has received a number of new aircraft, all of which have been made in Indonesia. The plan, there are nine planes that will arrive gradually.
This aircraft is a light transport multipurpose aircraft type, namely Cassa NC-212i-400 and is produced by PT Dirgantara Indonesia. The existence of this new aircraft is expected to increase the enthusiasm and motivation of all personnel in carrying out their duties.
"In the next few years, the work of other units will soon be completed, up to a total of nine aircraft, so that it will increase operational readiness," said Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo in a written statement, Friday, April 30.
He advised the aviators to prepare to manning this new aircraft. "The pilots must be ready to manning, maintaining and operating them," he said.
On that occasion, KSAU saw the cockpit of the aircraft and received an explanation about the Cassa NC-212i-400 aircraft from Danskadron Air 4 Lt. Col. Pnb M. Arif.
At a glance about this aircraft, the Cassa NC-212i-400 is the latest generation multipurpose light transport aircraft.
The aircraft has a spacious cabin and a more modern navigation and communication system. Later, the Casa-NC21i-400 aircraft can be used to carry out weather modification operations or artificial rain operations and aerial photographs.
