Risma's Strategy To Prevent Bansos Corruption From Recurring

JAKARTA - The Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini arranged a strategy with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to prevent a recurrence of social assistance (bansos) corruption.

One of the strategies is to make a complaint with a whistle blower system. This aims to prevent the practice of Rasuah from happening.

"For complaints, we are currently working on cooperation with the KPK for whistle-blowers, for this complaint," said Risma at a press conference at the Red and White KPK building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, April 30.

Meanwhile, for complaints in the form of letters, the Ministry of Social Affairs is collaborating with the Attorney General's Office. "If there is a complaint, I will send a letter to the Attorney General's Office and the Attorney General's Office will check it," he explained.

From the efforts made with the Attorney General's Office, Risma said, there were already a number of rogue elements who were then processed.

"There are people who have been hit and we have followed up this," said the PDI-P politician.

In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs also collaborates with other parties such as the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP). One of the partnerships is to create an e-catalog.

"Regarding the emergency earlier, we are currently working with LKPP to formulate it like that, so what kind of disaster e-catalog is it," he said.

Risma said, e-catalogs really need to be made. It is intended that procurement related to disasters has the same standard between one item and another.

"That is what we will make (e-catalog, red) to anticipate that the standards are the same, do not change and the standards do not change like that which we are currently preparing with LKPP," he concluded.
