6 Prisoners Escape In Kampar Arrested, 5 Still Wanted By Riau Police
PeKANBARU - Riau Regional Police have recaptured six Kampar Resort Police detainees who escaped while five others are still at large and are being targeted by the authorities.
Deputy Head of Riau Police, Brigadier General Pol. Adrianto Jossy in a firm statement to the five prisoners who are still fleeing. They were asked to immediately surrender.
"Don't wait until we come to pick up the force. The Riau Police will hunt you relentlessly, wherever you are hiding," said Deputy Chief of Police Adrianto as quoted by ANTARA.
Riau Police continued to exert full strength in this pursuit, involving a joint team from the Riau Police and the Kampar Police. Not only to the detainees, the Deputy Chief of Police also strongly reminded the parties who helped escape or hide the fugitives.
"Anyone who is proven to help, protect, or obstruct the law enforcement process, will be criminalized. There is no compromise against anyone who tries to interfere with the police's efforts," he said.
Even though this situation has caused public attention, the Deputy Chief of Police ensures that the security conditions in the jurisdiction of the Riau Police remain under control. But he appealed to the public to remain calm and vigilant.
"If there is information about the whereabouts of prisoners who are still at large, immediately report it. Community security is our priority, and we will protect the identity of the reporter completely," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Riau Police, Kombes Anom Caribbeanto, revealed the identities of the six detainees who had been re-arrested this Thursday, namely Okta Epandri, Feri Rahmadi alias Feri bin Suhali, Ahmad Zahri Andika Ginting, Roni Mahardika, Otrianus, and Rohman alias Uuk bin Taufik.
"The team is still moving in the field. Efforts to find and pursue the other five detainees are carried out intensively and coordinated throughout the jurisdiction of the Riau Police," said Kombes Pol. Anom.
