AAI Holds Munaslub, Preparations For Reconciliation Of Three Kubu
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Advocates Association (AAI) held an Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) 2025. The goal is to prepare for reconciliation and re-unification of the three camps of advocate organizations.
The holding of the Munaslub is also a follow-up to the Rapimnas and the National Working Meeting of the AAI DPP which was held earlier in 2023.
AAI General Chair Arman Hanis said he and the other two AAI leaders would not promote any of the candidates for this munaslub.
The three AAI DPP camps that will carry out reconciliation are the Palmer Situmorang camp, the Arman Hanis camp and the Ranto P Simanjuntak camp.
"I need to underline that the MoU or the agreement with the three general chairmen we as general chairmen will not endorse or nominate one of us," said Arman Hanis after the Munaslub entitled 'AAAI Bersatu: Meningjung Tinggi Integrity Professional, Unity Organization, and Member Protection' at the Aryaduta Hotel, Menteng, Jakarta, Thursday, May 15.
Therefore, Arman Hanis invited any AAI member to run for the Munaslub so that everyone had the same opportunity.
"So all members who wish to run as candidates for chairman in the MoU together will be welcome to prepare themselves to register as candidates for chairman," he said.
Not to forget, Arman Hanis also said that the Munaslub mechanism has not been regulated in the AAI AD/ART, therefore, changes need to be made to the AAI AD/ART.
"After the 2025 AAI Munaslub was opened, the chairperson of the trial recapitulated and verified the participants temporarily to determine the quorum. Furthermore, the trial was suspended to meet the quorum," said Arman Hanis.

"This seminar is the right space for us to voice clear thoughts, convey objective input and initiate solutions to various challenges that may arise from the implementation of the bill," said Bobby.
"We want to ensure that the Criminal Procedure Code Bill is not only a formal change, but also brings changes to a criminal law system that is fairer, more effective, and with integrity," he continued.
