Motorola Reveals Planned Offline Sales Expansion In Indonesia
JAKARTA Motorola only arrived in Indonesia in February, but the trend was getting more positive. In fact, the brand, which had been on hiatus for one windu, managed to break the company's record.
Within just three months, Motorola managed to occupy the top 5 position in all e-commerce in Indonesia. In fact, the company only launched one product during a comeback, namely the Moto G45 5G.
"This is a record we have never published," said Bagus Prasetyo, Country Head of Motorola Indonesia, at the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion launch event. "We've never seen a record like this."
Seeing this achievement, Bagus said that they wanted to be at the forefront of the industry. They want to be closer to the Indonesian market through two long-term plans, one of which is to expand the store.
"First, we will offline expansion, we will enter the mall. After this we will enter deeper traditional stores, to tier two and tier three," explained Bagus.
Unlike offline expansion, traditional stores are more targeting retail stores in various shopping centers, such as Mall Ambassador, ITC, and other cell phone referral stores. Motorola also plans to expand offline stores into more cities.
"Yesterday when we launched the Moto G45 5G, we were present with 16 service centers and we were determined to produce this service center closer to the community," said Bagus. "We already have a target."
Bagus said that Motorola wants to launch a 100 service center in the near future. In line with this expansion, Motorola will launch more products to the Indonesian market.
