Trump Claims Nuclear Deal With Iran To Be Realized Soon

JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump said the United States was getting closer to securing a nuclear deal with Iran. Tehran is claimed to have approved these requirements.

"We are in very serious negotiations with Iran for long-term peace," Trump said during a trip to the Gulf.

New talks between Iranian and US negotiators to resolve disputes over Tehran's nuclear program ended in Oman on Sunday with further planned negotiations as Tehran publicly insisted on continuing enrichment of its uranium.

Although Tehran and Washington both say they prefer diplomacy to resolve decades-old nuclear disputes, they remain divided into several red lines that negotiators must push to reach new nuclear deals and prevent future military action.
