Nissan Intends To Launch Three New Models, One Of Them Is A New Generation Skyline

JAKARTA - Not long ago, Nissan announced its business restructuring plan, "Re:Nissan" with the aim of strengthening its existence in the global market amid the crisis that is being hit on this brand.

Previously, Nissan had confirmed that he would suspend a number of factory operations in the domestic area and it had not been confirmed whether it would be temporarily or permanently closed.

Not only that, this automotive manufacturer from Japan has also terminated employment (PHK) as many as 10 thousand workers worldwide, increasing the number to 20 thousand workers or 15 percent of the total workers.

In the restructuring, Nissan also attempted to launch three new models for some time to come. One of the models will be named "Skyline".

Japanese media director Car Watch, Thursday, May 15, the well-known automotive manufacturer will launch the latest Skyline in conjunction with the C-Segment SUV for the global market and a compact SUV model from the Infiniti brand.

It is stated that the latest Nissan Skyline will be one of the models that will get the development process faster but cost-effective.

From now on, the development of the latest model only takes 37 months, down from the previous 52 months. Derivative products will follow faster, with the development cycle shortened from 50 to 30 months.

Previously, Nissan had launched the NISMO Skyline in mid-2023 which was introduced exclusively.

The NISMO Skyline is powered by a VR30DDTT engine developed by NISMO racing engineers from the Super GT event, so that this machine is capable of generating up to 414 hp of power and 550 Nm of torque.

This car is available in two variants on a limited basis, namely NISMO with only 1,000 units and NISMO Limited with 100 units for the Japanese market.
