From Dry Asphalt To Wet, GT Radial Shows Off On The BRZ Super Series With Champiro SX-R

JAKARTA As one of the leading tire manufacturers in Indonesia, GT Radial continues to show its commitment in the automotive world, not only through the launch of innovative products, but also through active support in various racing events. This time, GT Radial appeared as the main supporter in the inaugural series of the 2025 Subaru BRZ Super Series.

This racing event took place at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit on 9'11 May and opened the series of Mendalika Festival of Speed (MFOS) Round 1, which was held in conjunction with GT World Challenge Asia 2025. In the One Make Race BRZ Super Series racing event, GT Radial was present full of enthusiasm, supporting all racers with its flagship tires, Champiro SX-R.

The first two races immediately presented extreme challenges with contrasting track conditions "weather sunny in the first round and heavy rain flushed in the second round. This combination is a real test for the adaptability of the racers. However, thanks to the performance and stability offered by Champiro SX-R, all participants were able to finish the race safely and remain competitive.

Brand Manager of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, Dodiyanto, emphasized that the participation of GT Radial in the BRZ Super Series is a tangible manifestation of support for the advancement of the world of motorsport, both in the country and regional areas.

"The synergy between our tire technology and the performance of BRZ racing cars shows how our products are able to provide champion performance on each track," he said in an official statement, Thursday, May 15.

Each car competing in the BRZ Super Series is equipped with GT Radial Champiro SX-R, a semi-slick tire specifically designed for maximum grip. This tire is able to provide stability and agility, both when maneuvering on dry and wet trajectories. As an Ultra High Performance tire, Champiro SX-R has proven reliable in various international racing events such as Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Yahya Adi Nugroho, Founder of Max Motorsport Indonesia, expressed his satisfaction with the performance of GT Radial tires during the championship.

The Subaru BRZ Super Series 2025 series will continue in Round 3 & 4, which will be held again in Mandalika on July 18 20 as part of the MFOS Round 2. GT Radial will remain the official tire partner throughout the season, ensuring the best quality and performance in each round.
