Carry Out The Presidential Mandate, 20 Ministries/Institutions Sign MoU With The Ministry Of Law

JAKARTA - A total of 20 ministries/agencies signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Law as a form of joint commitment to President Prabowo Subianto's direction in accelerating decisions and legal services to institutions and the community.

During this activity, the Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo was represented by the Expert Staff of the Minister for Inter-Institutional Relations, Triono Junoasmono, attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Law and various ministries and institutions at the Ministry of Law Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 14.

The signing is a further step in strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration to support the achievement of the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.

Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas said that the signing of the memorandum of understanding was a tangible manifestation of the inter-institutional commitment to strengthen legal services and governance.

"The total partners who signed today are 20 ministries/agencies. This is the second signing after it was previously carried out in January. And we plan to have another signing next month," he said as quoted from the official statement.

Andi Agtas emphasized the importance of cross-sectoral cooperation in supporting the government's big agenda.

"The Ministry of Law continues cross-sectoral cooperation in supporting Indonesia Gold 2045. We believe that the signing of this memorandum of understanding is not just ceremonial, but a joint commitment to governance both and integrated public services," he said.

The signing activity is also an important momentum to discuss a number of main agendas, including changes in the nomenclature and expansion of strategic cooperation between institutions. The synergy built through the signing will also strengthen the positions of each agency in providing services to the community.

"We express our deepest gratitude for the participation and commitment of all ministries/agencies. Hopefully this signing can have a real impact on the realization of Indonesia Gold 2045," he said.

Meanwhile, Expert Staff to the Minister for Inter-Institutional Relations, Triono Junoasmono, said that his party welcomed the collaboration and was ready to fully support the strategic steps that had been agreed upon.

"The Ministry of Public Works strongly supports this cross-sectoral synergy in order to create an efficient, transparent and accountable government. We believe this collaboration will have a direct impact in accelerating national infrastructure development towards Indonesia Gold 2045," he said.

Through this memorandum of understanding, he said, the Ministry of Public Works will strengthen collaboration with the Ministry of Law covering a number of scopes of strategic cooperation, including data and information exchange, particularly related to business entities providing construction services, implementation of legal guidance and the establishment of laws and regulations in a coordinated and integrated manner.

In addition, cooperation will also be carried out in an effort to support the improvement of human resource competence, particularly through education and training for functional officials who design laws and regulations and legal analysts.

Including, in the judicial review process at the Supreme Court (MA) and the Constitutional Court (MK) related to the substance of regulations in the field of public work.

"This collaboration is expected to encourage joint commitment to strengthening bureaucratic reform and better public services," he concluded.
