Google Releases Update On Android And Wear OS Through Material 3 Expressive

JAKARTA - Google has officially announced a major update for Android and Wear OS through a new design called Material 3 Expressive, on The Android Show I/O Edition.

The search giant claims that this update will bring a more personal, expressive, and intuitive user experience, both for phones and smartwatches based on Wear OS.

Material 3 Expressive builds from the basic Material You, by presenting more customization options so you can truly express yourself, said VP of Product Management and User Experiences, Android Platform, penggunaan Brooks.

Material 3 Expressive introduces a more natural animated system, so that when you close a notification, other notifications around it will react subtlely to your movements.

In addition, Android now comes with a more sophisticated dynamic color theme, improved typography, and interface components that can be adjusted to the user's style, which is planned to be integrated into Google Photos, Fitbit, and Gmail.

There is also an updated Live Update feature, which will help you track the progress of the app. For example, after ordering Uber Eats, you will see Live Updates that are easy to monitor to see the progress of delivery.

On the other hand for Wear OS, Google presents a design that matches the smartwatch round screen. The autoll animation is now following the screen arch, creating a visual depth impression.

Updates also include a new, more efficient, refined transition, and more interactive key system to access important features such as messaging and activity tracking.

Material 3 Expressive also introduces a dynamic color theme to the watch system, so that the selected watch display will be consistent at all interfaces.

In addition, with the presence of Wear OS 6, users will also experience increased performance and power efficiency, with battery life claims up to 10% longer.
