Telkomsel Encourages Startups To Develop AI-Based Solutions Through NextDev Summit 10
JAKARTA - Telkomsel successfully held the 10th NextDev Summit, which carries the theme AI for Empowering Generations, to help startups early-stage in Indonesia create innovations using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Through NextDev, Telkomsel wants to open up opportunities for local startups to develop AI-based solutions that have a direct impact on the progress of the creative and digital sectors in Indonesia.
Telkomsel's Vice President of Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility, Saki H. Bramono said that this event underscores Telkomsel's role in encouraging AI adoption for digital startups.
"By taking advantage of AI's potential, this approach proves that AI is not only a tool, but also an economic growth accelerator based on sustainable innovation," Saki said in his official statement quoted Wednesday, May 14.
This event is the culmination of the NextDev series which includes NextDev Talent Scouting, NextDev Academy and Final Pitching.
In this final stage, 10 finalist startups from three categories, namely Productivity Enhancement (eHealth, Outside Campus, On Journey), Emerging Technologies (EON Energy, KendAli, Molca, Saturplatform), and Digital Lifestyle (Bonda, photoin.id, GoDentist) have the opportunity to present their innovative solutions.
This event is also expected to support the national economic growth target of 8 percent set by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto. These five priorities include: health services, bureaucratic reform, talent education, smart city development, and food security.

At the end of the Final Pitching stage at NextDev Summit 2025, the LuarKampus startup from Pontianak City offered an AI-based platform solution that helped students seek scholarships abroad entitled to the title Best of The Best NextDev Startup 2025.
Then, the startup SATUPLATFORM from Jakarta was named Runner-up with an all-in-one platform solution for ESG management (Environmental, Social, and Governance), carbon, and sustainability report.
Then, MOLCA came from Surabaya which provided digital twin and AI-based AR/VR solutions for the manufacturing industry and construction won the Third Winner position.
